Photograph of the shadows created by the fairy lights on the tree shining through glass baubles and decorations. Although a photograph, I thought this was a very good example of “transparent over opaque” as you can see the colour of the wall coming through all but the most solid of outlines. This also gives me some good ideas for an unusual still life painting – more of that later!
